How to start a fan loyalty program
Give your audience a reason to return, without making every interaction a sales pitch.
Start with one repeat action
Pick an action that fits the work you already publish: returning to a weekly resource page, checking for a new episode, or visiting a creator hub for a new download. A loyalty program works when the reward supports that habit. Do not ask fans to perform empty tasks just to increase a counter.
Make the first reward attainable
Write down what a new visitor gets immediately, what a returning fan gets after a few visits, and what your most dedicated fans can unlock later. For example, a cooking creator could offer a public recipe list on day one, a printable shopping list after several check-ins, and early access to a new recipe at a higher milestone. Publish the rules beside the reward so nobody has to guess.
A simple three-step reward ladder
- First visit: a useful public link or resource.
- Returning visits: a small download, preview, or bonus.
- Longer streak: a meaningful early-access or exclusive item you can reliably deliver.
Launch it from your bio link
Put your most valuable public link first. Add a short explanation of how fans earn points or build a streak and what those actions unlock. Share the link in one post with a concrete reason to click today. LinkStreaks combines the links, points, streaks, and unlockable content on one page; see the link in bio with rewards walkthrough for a suggested layout.
Measure whether it helps
After launch, compare returning visitors, reward unlocks, and clicks to the content you wanted people to see. Ask fans whether the reward is useful. If a milestone rarely gets reached, simplify it or improve the value; do not assume that more points means more loyalty. Keep your promises realistic and review giveaway or paid-reward rules before you offer them.
